Stages of Grief

Denial My flat iron isn't broken, I just got it. Something must just be wrong with the plug.
Anger Stupid CHI, for $90 can't a girl get a quality product that DOESN'T break 10 months later! I HATE YOU! I NEVER want to see you again!
Bargaining I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it, I REALLY do love you. PLEASE turn on, I'll do anything. I love you so much, I stop to thing about how much I love you everyday! Every time I see my straight hair in the mirror I LOVE YOU. I cherish every second I spend with you. PLEASE!
Depression Fine. I'll just be ugly. You could have warned me first.
Acceptance...I'm not there yet.

isn't there a year warranty on those things? You just have to ship to the company and not the store you bought it at? Sorry to hear the bad news.

All that grieving and not a word about your trip to Utah...guess that lets us know where we stand on the list of blessings in your life. We hope you had a great time here, even though we didn't all get to see you.

Curling irons and flat irons, washing machines and cell phones bite the dust when we need them the most.
Sorry for your loss, maybe Santa will bring a new one.
I agree with Jenni, call the manufacturer.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Flat irons rock except for when they break. Let me know when you have gotten to the acceptance part! Miss you!
