Life is good

We got our tree over the weekend and last night for FHE we put it up. I was looking at our perfect Christmas tree with all the mangy, homemade ornaments on it thinking about how someday I will want our tree to look perfect, but for right now, I LOVE having all the decorations on the same 6 branches and I LOVE the love that went into these pieces of paper with a string tied around them that don't match a thing and I love (for the most part) having little kids around. They keep Rob and I young.

forget the perfect trees-they don't have the love!

Christmas is never as much as it is for you right now! It's just not the same with no little people in the house. Can you tell I'm missing you today?

So, Erin is 19, Jennae is 17 and Aubrey is 15 and Jennae says to me just last week, "When are we going to have a 'nice' tree with a theme, or that looks like it had a plan?" I told her my theme was "memories" of their wonderful youth! So much for the someday!!

I'm loving the kid decorated tree, too!! All of the decorations are about the height of Carter. Although, he did make the paper angel for the top, too! I love it!
