A few weeks ago on Facebook one of my dear friends Mom posted that the Susan G. Komen foundation teamed up with KFC. Selling FRIED chicken in pink buckets. To me that sounds like an oxy-moron. Shouldn't we be avoiding things like the bucket in order to avoid things like cancer?
I'm a bit ashamed to admit, I forgot all about it the very next day. Until today. Claire brought in the mail and I was going through the ads when I found a coupon booklet for KFC. Annoyed with the pink on the front I remembered my previous feelings towards the company who sells chicken breaded in cancer and deep fried in more cancer and started flipping through the booklet. That is when I found the picture of the yummy new sandwich above. (Heavy sarcasm folks) How can eating something like this (above) help cure cancer?
"For every pink bucket, KFC makes a 50 cent contribution to Susan G Komen for the cure."
Disclaimer, I'm not trying to offend anyone with my feelings, but if you have an opinion that differs from mine, post it on your own blog. Hows that for being opinionated?

Seriously!! No part of that "sandwich" looks appealing in any way!! So ridiculous!!
that is just plain sick!!!
I'm with you Juliann!!!....although if I wasn't, apparently, I can't say it here! haha
the only link I can make is that both involve "boobs"... I think I just gained 3 lbs and raised by cholesterol by only looking at the picture that you posted. Ugh... I think I'll have to find some other way to help save the tatas.
Surprisingly if its grilled rather than fried the calorie count is the same as a McDonalds double cheese burger, otherwise it is similar to the Big Mac. However greasy food aside that was my first thought upon seeing the add as well.
Yes, I agree and how generous of KFC to give fifty cents from an almost $20 sell!
and made similar comments! It's a festival of grease and nastiness. does it come with mayo I wonder?
Am I the only one that thinks that looks really good??
I was already about to barf, but that seals the deal! ;) oh, the irony.. and the crappiness of the average american diet..
